After Julia went into contractions at 5am, getting admittance to University Hospitals at 1pm, starting the pushing process at 8pm, and finally getting an emergency c-section at 10pm....
Eva Mika Kato was born at 10:37pm on July 4th, 2009. She is 7lbs and 11 oz while measuring 19.5 inches.
While most of the nurses thought she looked more like her dad, we think that she took the best traits of both of us!
Yippee, I had a feeling you were having a girl.....you are so blessed to have a precious princess. I can't wait to pick out some really cute pink things now :-) It was difficult to find gender neutral things for baby Kato and there is almost nothing left on your registry. Please give Julia my love and we are sending prayers for a speedy recovery from the C-section. Good luck with nursing too....mommy's milk is literally liquid gold for baby!!
I think it's fair to say we are all desperately awaiting more photos. Can't wait to see more of your beautiful Eva and to hear how Julia is recovering!!
Awwwww, what a cute little lady! Seems I was all wrong in my guesses. ;) Hope you are all recovering and adjusting ok! Talk to you soon!
