More Weekend Photos

Sorry we didn't get a group shot, but you can see Uncle Brian, part of Amy, Gigi, and Grandpa...missed one of Nancy..... Thanks again everyone for coming to visit! It was really special.

Graduating Cows...

but wait, I lost all the baby weight!

We had a fabulous jam packed weekend. It started off with Grace, our neighbor's, 3rd birthday on a farm. Eva got to see some real cows! She was in awe.

Then Grandpa and Nancy came to town and got to see Eva. Sunday Gigi, Brian, and Amy arrived as well and we kicked off Graduation day with brunch at the country club that Eric and I just joined (don't worry we still are the same down to earth couple, we joined so Eric could still enjoy golf (it's much closer than public courses) and so Eva could enjoy the pool). From there it was back home for an afternoon nap, while Mom and Gigi went to the ceremony early. Everyone else joined there later and got to see Mommy graduate! Back home for Jimmy's famous rib dinner, topped off with Chocolate Graduation Cake.

I realize now I didn't get a group shot but hopefully tomorrow I can at least get one of Grandpa and Nancy before they leave, as everyone else has already headed out!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well my plans to work in the garden didn't pan out this weekend due to the 40 degree weather that came to Cleveland. I did have a wonderful Mother's Day though! Eric (who is not a morning person) woke up with Eva and I this morning and cooked us breakfast (well ok me breakfast). He helped me get all the old baby gear put away so that when Grandpa and Nancy come next weekend they have a place to stay. Eric and I also decided to try to get back in shape and we did plowmetrics (spelling?) on P90X....ok that was hard. And though we ended the day with a loss from the Cavs we still had a wonderful family dinner.

10 Months!

Eva loves to eat. She's started to get the hang of finger foods. She decided she doesn't like the teething biscuts as much anymore but is now a huge fan of Mum Mums, Puffs, Bananas, and Avocado.

She still is rolling but not crawling yet. She did start a butt crawl the other day where she was sitting and scooted herself forward on her butt. She is working on trying to sit up from lying down but isn't able to do it yet by herself.

She did an art project in school today and came home with pink paint on her fingers :) Luckily it was washable!

Daddy has been travelling a lot, a lot, a lot...so Mommy and Eva have had some quality time together recently. I did get to go to Phoenix with my girlfriends for a short girls weekend/celebration of being done with school.
