No more pencils...

No more books, no more teachers dirty looks! (sorry mom :)

I am done!!!! It was very anti-climatic ending. I think it will feel more complete on graduation day. But regardless today was the last day of class! I cannot believe I finished. The past two years have been a whirlwind.

What is "crazy" Julia going to do now :)

school, school, and more school!

I have never ever spent as much time at school or doing school work as I have this past week. Saturday I was there from 10-1, Sunday from 10:30 - 5:00, Monday I spent 2-3 hrs on my paper, today I must have put in ~4 hrs of school work time plus 2 hrs of class. Tomorrow I have a group meeting... wow! The only blessing is I am almost done!!!!! One full day of class on Friday and then one more class next Tuesday. If only my group could finish our paper and presentation this week then I will be done with all deliverables!! I cannot wait!

What shall I do with all my free time ..... I have a fear I may get bored :)

Eva's New Adventures

Swimming: Thursday night Eva and I went to Parent/Tot Swim at the nearby high school. Eva had no idea what was going on but I think in the end liked the big "tub". I'll let you know how it goes next week. Her favorite part seemed to be the toys she could play with. We also sang songs and played with a noodle.
Tummy Time: Grandpa and Tracy are here this weekend. Eva decided that she doesn't mind being on her tummy so much while they are here. She also started to show off and roll a lot more. (tummy to back and back to tummy). The little princess still isn't crawling.
Teething Biscuts: We also tried teething biscuts this weekend. We tried Puffs previously but they haven't worked out so well. The teething biscuts seem to be okay but Eva managed to bite off a big piece a couple of times and make choking noises which gave me a heart attack! We will have to keep working on it.

9 month shots!

First try of this shot, Eva had the remote in her hand and when she was smiling for the camera decided to hit herself in the head and 5 seconds later started crying. We had to calm down a bit before we took another photo shoot :) Can you see her budha belly :)

9 Months!

Eva at 9 months:
Weight 17lbs 7ozs (25th percentile)
Height 2ft 2 3/4 inches (25th percentile)
Head Circumfrance 44.5cm (75th percentile)

Eva had her 9 month check up today. I took the afternoon off thinking she had to get shots but she didn't. I brought her home though for a nice long nap, instead of taking her back to day care. She has moved down to the 25th percentile in weight and height, which the dr said is very normal since she is getting breastmilk still. Her head though is big :) but I think the lady may have measured wrong. But that might also just be my opinion :)

I asked the dr for some medicine for Eva's cough since she has officially been sick for a month. She gave me something for which I am very greatful. Eva and I are going to run some errands this afternoon and maybe go for a walk and enjoy this beautiful weather!
